Printable Paper Rulers

Pretty useful! “I did use the un-numbered rulers this week, and really like them. I copied them onto overhead transparency film, then cut them. They’re a lot more durable than paper, and very flexible, Best of all, they’re see-through, which is really helpful when kids are measuring “odd” things they need to see. The only warning; you must have a VERY sharp paper-cutter, or you’ll end up with pretty rough edges....

Quote Of The Day By John F Kennedy

Forgive your enemies, but never forget their names. – John F. Kennedy We can’t turn back the clock of time. Good or bad, right or wrong, it is done. It’s over! Once the ingredients are mixed, we can not separate them apart. Once a word goes from our mouth, we can not take it back. Once we do an action, we can not choose another one in its place. Once wood is reduced to sawdust, you can’t make it back into a board Once Humpty Dumpty fell, all the kings horses and all the kings men couldn’t put Humpty Dumpty together again Once today arrives, it becomes too late to live in yesterday Despite the fact that no one can not refute the obvious statements above, it is not uncommon for many of us still finding ourselves reworking yesterday....

Science Proves Funny People Are More Intelligent

Albert Einstein was also a funny man. Apparently, he was popular with the ladies. Who would have thought? He once quipped, “Any man who can drive safely while kissing a pretty girl is simply not giving the kiss the attention it deserves.” Stephen Hawking is another brilliant, intelligent scientist who is also known for his sharp sense of humor. Coincidence? Probably not! It’s more likely that funny people are just plain smarter....

How Silence Can Impact Negatively on Relationships, Regardless of Our Intentions The issue with this is that silence can often be used to avoid conflict in a relationship, particularly during times of stress and/or in instances where one partner is particularly dominant. This can subsequently cause significant issues and divides in the relationship, primarily for the following reasons. 1. Silence can be used as a form of manipulation. Silly Diet Coke Hack

So the other day at work, I had an open container of 4C iced green tea mix sitting on my desk, and I’d just brought back a 20 ounce bottle of diet Coke from the vending machine. I put the Coke down beside the mix, and then thought… hmmm. Diet Coke with 4C brand diet Green Tea powder (just a… pinky knuckle worth) was pretty tasty. Plus, it had a puny amount of anti-oxidants (I’m not fooling you with that, but whatever), and it added some caffeine, to give me that JOLT!...

Spend Time With Positive People

I’ve dealt with a fair share of negative people in my life. When I was in junior college, I was basically surrounded by a college population of negative students and teachers. My school wasn’t the best of the lot, so most people inside were disgruntled by virtue of being there. While I was initially taken aback by negativity of the people, I eventually learned to manage it and channel it into conscious action....

Starting A Business The Why Is As Big As The How

The types of business are many and varied. Some work online full time, some part time. Now, I talk to a lot of people in the early stages of the process — people with a broad awareness of the possibilities offered by self-employment, who want to know more before they jump....
